I have a visual obsession with palm trees. For many years, my family has traveled to the Bahamas at the end of a long New England winter. The shapes, textures and colors of each palm tree continually mesmerize me, along with their joyful expressions of free and simple movement. I photograph them. I draw them. I paint them. I collage them. They take on a life of their own.
